Lead Sustainably in 2025 – Making tough decisions

Family Business Association (FBA) and our National Partner, Gallagher, are delighted to bring together our powerful Forum groups for thought-provoking discussions on making tough decisions, managing risk sustainably and exploring the crossover of sporting and business success. 

We are thrilled to introduce David Gallop AM, Director of Tabcorp Holdings Ltd and Sophie Griffin, Head of Climate and Sustainability at Gallagher, confirmed as our guest speakers.

David has managed many a tough decision in business throughout his career, including as CEO and General Secretary of Football Federation Australia from 2012-2019 and CEO of the National Rugby League from 2002-2012. At Tabcorp, David serves as Chairman of the People and Remuneration Committee and a member of the Risk, Compliance and Sustainability Committee and the Nomination Committee. David also serves as chairman of Step One Clothing Limited, Venues NSW, Alacria Pty Ltd (leading sports advisory) and Hairmop Pty Ltd (trading as MOSH, online health services). He is also on the Board of Cricket NSW.

Sophie, with more than 15 years in risk consulting, leads a team focused on sustainability (ESG/climate change) and resilience projects. Delivering innovative solutions tailored to help clients identify and navigate material sustainability risks, Sophie and her team foster a culture of innovation and strategic risk management, staying informed about the latest developments in sustainability and climate change to help clients address emerging challenges and seize opportunities.
