In partnership with Government of South Australia’s Office for Small and Family Business, Family Business Association is offering three webinars in South Australia to help family business owners build fundamental knowledge and capability. 

Specifically tailored to the unique needs of family businesses, this webinar series focuses on core family business fundamentals, providing you with practical knowledge that’s critical to improve business processes and drive sustainable growth for generations, no matter your stage in business. There are three webinars in the series:

  • Legal Considerations in Family Business 
  • Succession in Family Business 
    Succession is one of the greatest challenges associated with running a family business. Every family business needs to start planning for their future leadership. Whatever your planning horizon is to transitioning your business, now is the time to start having the conversation.    

Specific Objectives

This workshop will enable participants to:  

  • Understand what Succession involves for families in business.   

  • Why Succession Planning is vital for any size family business.  

  • Succession Planning is an essential focus for the family, the business they operate and for owners. 

  • Understand the elements to Succession in family business.  

  • Be able to assess where they are on their Succession journey and plan further steps.

Louisa Andreucci | Hood Sweeney

With more than 10 years of professional experience, Louisa advises professionals and business clients across industries with the management of their income tax affairs, GST and the preparation of financial statements. Louisa’s clients include businesses in construction and food and hospitality, and family owned and run businesses.

Matthew Bartemucci | Hood Sweeney

Matthew Bartemucci is a chartered accountant with 20 years of experience, specialising in accounting and business advisory for family businesses, small to medium-sized enterprises and high net worth individuals. He is also an accredited Family Business Adviser with Family Business Association.

Client focused, dedicated, and understanding, Matthew specialises in the areas of business financial and management accounting, taxation and compliance, business strategy, asset protection, succession planning and governance for his clients.
